Home Back Our Whites

Our Legacy

Ch. Windemere's One Step Ahead (Cassius)
Windemere's CH. One Step Ahead
Cassius is the litter brother of Sterling (on the white page) and took after his sire, Ch. Windemere's Step'n Out With Class. This is what happens when you blend the two colors. Lucky for me, Step'n Out With Class carries quite a nice white gene! The dam is a daughter of Ch. Windemere's Here's Lookin' At You and I am sure Cassius will sire whites when bred to white bitches. I want to thank Ruth West for finishing Cassius and we are now giving him time to grow up before specialling him.
Ch. Taibel Ameretto At Windemere (Poppy)
Windemere's CH. Tibel Ameretto
Poppy was bred by Beryl and Stan Williams and is out of Taibel Princess Leah, a pretty fawn bitch with a black mask. Her sire is Ch. Windemere's Romancing The Ice, my Specialty Best In Show winning white. This mating produced three black masked fawns--no whites--which did not surprise my since Leah has no white behind here. I plan to breed Poppy to one of the white males so we will see what the next generation produces!
Windemere's Pride of Draco (Calypso)
Windemere's CH. Pride of Draco
Calypso is a litter mate to Ch. Windemere's Part Time Pirate and has gotten a late start because of an eye injury as a puppy. Bred here at Windemere, he is owned by Pam Winters and is being shown either by her or Cody Koch. His sire is Ch. Draco's Pirate's Pride and his dam is Windemere's In The Limelight, sired by Ch. Sachiko Gold Digger From Pekehuis. Calypso has definitely taken after his sire and is now looking for majors to finish his title.
Windemere's Sunday Kind Of Love (Sunday)
Windemere's CH. Sunday Kind of Love
Windemere's Sunday Kind Of Love started her career off with a bang by going BOW for a major at the age of 6 months. She is an absolute joy to show and easily finished her championship. Her dam is a daughter of Ch. Yakee Forward Step At Pleiku, bred by my good friend Betty Tilley. We are anticipating a litter from her this year.
Ch. Windemere's Remember When (Swayze)
Swayze spent time with Ruth West who put most of his points on him. He came back home in order for me to use him for breeding and I finished his Championship at the Evergreen Specialty under breeder/judge Pam Winters. Two of his champion sons follow and he has others ready for the ring.
Ch. Windemere's Remember Me (Domino) and Ch. Windemere's Red Heart's A'Fire (Drummer)
Domino was a little dynamo in the ring, starting his career at 6 months and one day. He is one of those pefect pekingese who looks small but picks up surprisingly heavy. He is the sire of Ch. Torch Song and Red Crush. Drummer was shown by my good friend Lynn Forbes but came home to finish. He has sired the wonder litter of five out of Ch. Taibel Royal Affair (BISS) owned by Beryl & Stan Williams. We are hoping the two boys and three girls will all finish. Drummer now resides with Sean and Bob Perry in Redmond, Oregon where he is loved member of their household.
Ch. Windemere's Torch Song (Flame)
Flame was shown and finished by my good friend and handler, Ruth West. She is the epitome of what a good pekingese should be: absolutely sound all around, huge chest, level back, beautiful head. I can't wait to have a litter from her.
Ch. Windemere's Step'n Out With Class (Cash)
Cash was shown and finished by Jeff Noakes. His sire is Ch. Yakee Foreward Step at Pleiku (owned by Betty Tilly) who is currently the top sire in the country. Cash's dam is Ch. Windemere's Kolari Class Act who is sired by Eng. Import Ch. Sachiko gold Digger of Pekehuis. Cash has proven to be a wonderful asset to both my colored and white lines and will produce white when bred white. His progeny is in the ring in Oregon, Missouri and Nevada.
