Our Legacy

Windemere's Awesome in White (Sterling)

Windemere's Awesome In White (Sterling) has been shown in the Nevada/California area by my friend Cody Koch and needs only two points to finish. He is sired by Ch. Windemere's Step'n Out With Class and out of a daughter of Ch. Windemere's Here's Lookin' At You. He is a combination of my white and colored lines and has taken the best from both.

Windemere's Different Shade Of White

We call him Silver Streak because of his unusual color. He is basically ice white but had a dark streak down his back when he was growing up. This turned into a "dusting" of color on the tips of hair along his back and the name stuck! He is a half-brother to Sterling on the sires side and his dam is a daughter of Ch. BISS Windemere's Romancing The Ice. This combination has produced jet black pigment, very masculine heads, big bone and profuse coat. What more could I ask for?!

Apollo is co-bred and co-owned by my good friend and handler Ruth West. Ruth easilly finished his championship and she is looking forward to showing him off at the Eukanuba Invitational in December. Ch. Windemere's Rond-A-Vu On The Ice (Caruso)

Caruso is a delight to show and just like his sire, Romeo, always free stacks in the ring. I have always said that if I could clone Romeo, Caruso would be the results. The Best of Breed win was one of the fun ones as he defeated both his sire and another top northwest Special which gave him his second major. He now needs three single points to finish.

Ruth West, Handler I purchased Bogart from Judy and Mickey Ball as a young puppy and, even then, his quality was quite evident. At just past 6 months Ruth West (who always showed Bogart) showed him at the Rotating Specialty in Dallas and he was the hit of the shows with wins in the Sweeps all three days. Ruth continued to show him and he became an easy champion. His show career has been quite a whirlwind with multiple breed and group placements, and he has the honor of being the first white pekingese to ever be in the top 10 for the year

After taking a year off from the ring, Romeo came back with a group 4 under Judge Sari Brewster Tietjen.	Casual head study.
Romeo winning Specialty Best In Show at the Evergreen Pekingese Club show, following in the footsteps of his grandsire, Ch. Windemere's Tonic On The Rocks, the first ever white specialty best in show winner.	Group 2 at the All breed show the day following the Specialty win. Both wins were under Judge Elaine Young.
Romeo is one of those delightful dogs that never puts a foot down wrong in the show ring. He has always been breeder/owner handled and makes quite a statement by free stacking in the ring. He carries an amazing coat of correct texture and has the signature jet black pigment that this line is known for. His progeny is in the ring both here and in France.


Ch. Windemere's Reflection In White Sire: Ch. Windemere's Here's Lookin' At You Dam: Daughter of Ch. Windemere's Tonic On The Rocks, Specialty Best In Show, winning son of Ch. Singlewell Tonic. Iggy finished his championship before he was nine months old and is carrying on the tradition of our sound, glamorous white pekingese. With his superb white linebred pedigree he will be a great asset to our line. He now has puppies on the ground.

These two bitches are co-owned with my good friend, Julie Ward. Julie and I have been working together for about three years and these are the first two that she has finished. They are half sisters out of my Ch. Windemere's Elegance In White (a Ch. Singlewell Tonic daughter). Ella's sire is Ch. Windemere's Here's Lookin' At You (a Ch. Sachiko Gold Digger son and a Singlewell Tonic grandson). Pearl's sire is Ch. Sachiko Gold Digger from Pekehuis, and Pearl was finished from the Under 8# class. Now, who says it is harder to win with the whites? A handler was never used with either of these two exceptional bitches.

Am. & Can. Ch. Singlewell Tonic, English Import Tonic is a paper white imported from the famous Singlewell kennel in England. He is responsible for the glamourous look and style of my line. He is now with Marie Petersen (Kisci Kennel) in Denmark, but we have retained frozen semen which is available to interested breeders.

CH. Windemeres Elegance In White Ellie has three daughters in the ring sired by Ch. Sachiko Gold Digger From Pekehuis. Sherrie and Pearl have already attained their championship and we hope to finish the third one next year. Her last baby boy, sired by Reflection In White is still in the nursery.

CH. Windemere's Ivory Arrogance Ivory is a son of Am. & Can. Ch. Singlewell Tonic and was piloted to his championship by Lynn Forbes of Spokane, Washington. He is the litter brother to Ch. Windemere's Elegance In White and is back home at Windemere where he is happily siring litters.

CH. Sachiko Gold Digger From Pekehuis Digby is a pale cream English import with tremendous body and fringing which he is putting on his puppies. His sire is a double grandson of Eng. Ch. Tenling Golden Arrow of Pekehuis and since he is not white bred he is an asset to all colors.


Ch. Windemere's Diamonds Are Forever Sire: Ch. Sachiko Gold Digger From Pekehuis Dam: A daughter of Ch. Singlewell Tonic Sometimes good things come in small packages! Precious was winner of the PCA Sleeve showcase in Houston and then went on to finish her championship in grand style by going BOW over the males under prestigious judge Frank Sabella. Ch. Windemere's Knight In White Satin is from her first litter sired by Ch. Windemere's Reflection In White. She is currently in whelp to Ch. Windemere's Ivory Arrogance, a Ch. Singlewell Tonic son.
